FACE-TO-FACE OPTION

NOTE: A combination of the above courses can be done at the same time and will take an hour. Two courses one after the other can be done in 90 minutes.  All three courses can be done in two (2) hours.

Evacuation Coordination Training (Warden Training) Our experienced trainers will tailor the training to your organisation.

This fire training covers the training of wardens in how to respond to an emergency; manage an emergency and the safe evacuation of all persons from the premises.

Training complies with Building Fire Services Regulation 2008 (Qld) and AS3745 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities.  Note that neither legislation mandates that the training must be accredited training.

Over 30 staff

In Queensland if you have over 30 people working on your premises then training must be conducted or organised by a Fire Safety Adviser or a RTO.  This online training course once tailored to your organisation is fully compliant.

General Evacuation Training is a one-hour course for a group of up to 15 people.  Our experienced trainers will tailor the training to your organisation.

This fire training covers:

  • Legal Obligations
  • Warden Structure
  • Evacuation Rules
  • Types of Emergencies – Fire, Bomb Threat, Medical, Chemical, Armed Hold Up, Active Shooter, Natural Disasters

Building Fire Services Regulation 2008 (Qld) mandates that ALL staff MUST do General Evacuation Training annually.  AS3745 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities states that staff SHOULD have training annually.  

 

First Response Training (practical fire training

This fire training covers:

  • Do’s & Don’ts of approaching a fire
  • Fire Classifications
  • Types of Fire equipment
  • How to use the equipment

This is hands-on practical fire training.

Building Fire Services Regulation 2008 (Qld) mandates that ALL staff MUST have First Response Training every TWO years.  AS3745 Planning for Emergencies in Facilities recommends that staff have this training every TWO years.
